I recently graduated with a BBA in Management Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science and now I want to pursue a masters in software engineering. I was wondering what are my chances of succeeding in the software engineering program coming from a business IT background? What areas will I be strong and weak at because of my MIS degree? Also, What do you think about a master in Information Security? as well...Would I benefit more from software engineering or information security? Thank you for your help!!

Hi, I know this is a little off. Am interested in pursuing a degree in MIS, I start the upper level classes this summer. However, I am a little unsure about the job market/demand. Some say the market is great, others say it sucks. What is your opinion? I really haven't seen so many MIS majors on here complaining.
