Can school based SLPs also work out of their house, especially during the summer? Is spanish necessary for SLPs in most school?

I want to work in a school setting but would like to work through the summers too is this possible? I live in Colorado and know a lot of people involved in ESL and was wondering how competitive school jobs are and if spanish helps?
