I am finishing my masters in slp & am starting to research doctoral programs. Not sure which avenue I'd like to persue...Ph.D. of SLP.D. I was wondering what where the thoughts on getting a degree in a complimentary field...i.e. Psychology (educational, cognitive, etc.), or other fields.

Could I diagnose & treat as well if I got a doctoral degree in another field?
