Is it Difficult to Take a Break from SLP Work, and then go Back? Such as an extended hiatus of maybe 2-4 years?

If I keep up with online continuing eduction hours to maintain my license, is that enough?

Thanks.

YES!!! I have just returned to work as an SLP after a 15 year break. I paid my ASHA dues to maintain my CCC status and completed 30 hours of continuing education for a recent audit. I secured a job with a contract company who has placed me in three short term maternity leave coverage school job positions at a highly competitive hourly rate. Now, I have a contract with a SNF for 13 weeks which may become permanent, if I chose to stay. So, YES you can return to work after a break!!! Good luck!
