What is the most disgusting thing you see or know about speech language pathologist. When a SLP does swallowing, who inserts the feeding tube- the nurse or the SLP? What area do you work or planning to work after graduate schools (school, outpatient, hospital,)etc.?
How do I gain experience to know if SLP job is for me? I already did volunteer in outpatient and hospital, but I feel that I need a job closely connect to them to be able to know truly if SLP job is for me before investing in time and money for school. I am 26 years old and have a bachelor in education. I do not want to wait any longer nor I want to rush things too soon before I regret the job. I hope to get a job related or work closely with them for at least one or two years before making that final decision. What jobs are out there? thanks for your input.
