Thats the best part. You dont need any business experience, until recently a degree or ethics. You have to be able to sell people products that dont need to make quotas your first year as an agent. Customers dont knock on your door. You have to knock on theres and compete with the state farm agent a mile up the road. After your first year, when you get your official contract, you increase your staff to sell for you. There are some good agents, but thats probably 2% of all state farm agents. Best of luck!
