How did you get your start doing Supplier Quality Engineer work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

To become SQE, you should have minimum of 5 years manufacturing engineer experience, 5 years in QA experience
design experience of 2 years, procurement experience of 2 years
Mostly the the current trend is that SQE should posses the procurement, sourcing skills besides other skills

Employer wants combination of all the above skills. days gone SQE with quality lean sixsigma skills. Now they want with supply chain skills to perform buyers and quality jobs
