MUST be aggressive, not a place for wimps.
MUST be "the heavy".
MUST assume every supplier is lying when they say they are working on the problem. The larger they are in size and the smaller you are in size and volume to them will dictate how quickly your issues get resolved.

Been in Quality / Mfg since 1980 ...need to be able to solve problems and influence all levels and functional groups within the company not to mention suppliers and customers. Do your homework then talk.
