I know this is kind of personal but we are pretty much all anonymous on here anyways, so I would like to know what people are making and where (city or state) they work. If you dont feel comfortable answering this question, then dont... this is just to give people an idea of where the best paying jobs are

Since I started this conversation, I will be the first to answer. I have been fluctuating between 80k - 100k a year, this includes overtime and and on call pay, hourly I am at 32, and I work in Richmond, VA, I have heard this is pretty good for the locale, but I have also heard of others near the Washington DC area making a lot more

Thanks for the info! May I know if you're working independently, in a group, clinic or hospital? I think this is also a factor with regards to determining ones salary earnings. I'm taking the ABSA SA-C exam this Saturday. I would surely need info regarding what SA's in Arizona are earning. Thanks!

I guess VA is the only place paying that much. As far as I can see, most jobs in Florida offer CSAs under 45K.

I just signed on at a hospital in S. OH for $66K +OT and call. I hope this helps, I have 14 months experience as a CSA.

i turned down a job in Northern Virginia, near DC, they were offering a $7500 signing bonus, $37/hr, and $7/hr for being on call, I have 12 years experience in the OR, and 5 yrs experience as an assistant
