1. This is a very simple question, but highly important. I'm considering this as a career, does the surgical tech stand in one spot for long periods of time with no movement of the feet? For as long as I can remember I haven't been able to stand still without my feet starting to ache after 15 minutes. I can move around on my feet for 10 hours with no problem. Its the standing still that is killer.

2. I would be going to school in Washington state. Has anyone had experience with the training up here? how is the job market for surgical tech in WA?
