What is the best training for becoming a technical support analyst? What types of ongoing training or certifications are necessary to be an effective technical support analyst?

What do non-traditional career paths look like?

The best training for becoming a technical support analyst would be to go to DeVry and pay $50,000 for their bachelor degree program. Once you graduate you will then make 12.00-23.00 an hour on 3-6 month contracts with no chance in your career to ever become a perm employee unless you are also a good schmoozer. I suggest taking Network or Software Engineering courses, then you will be able to find a decent paying job with a good chance of landing a perm job with benefits.
