I'm graduating with a MA in Professional Writing in August. I've started my job search and even applied to some positions; I've received no responses.

How is the outlook for technical writers now? I am willing and ready to relocate, so that isn't a problem.

I have experience in training as well as technical writing; and I am familiar with several software tools:
-RoboHelp, inDesign, FrameMaker, Captivate
-Camtasia, Snagit

I've been looking online for jobs. I plan to try and network locally, but the picking is pretty slim in my area in terms of writing jobs.

I need someone who is very good with grammar that can write and research how to articles. Someone that knows how to reference and source articles. The average article is between 400 to 500 word articles. $7 and up depending on the article.
