What graphics, online Help, and publishing programs are most popular?

I need to add a graphics application, on online Help authoring program, and a desktop publishing application to my skills set (for the past 20 years I've used (WordPerfect)Presentation and PowerPoint to do what graphics I've needed). What application, in each category, is the most requested by employers

For graphics, definitely look into Creative Suite by Adobe. It contains Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoShop. You really need to know all 3 apps.

For online help: RoboHelp is the most popular. It comes bundled with FrameMaker in the Technical Communication Suite.

Adobe products are the only way to go. RoboHelp I find is the most requested Online Help product from employers. It was originally word based so you can catch on pretty quick to the basics. They also have a great user forum if you run into issues.
