Hello everybody! I am very desperately in need of a job. I made an account with chase bank and I have a few questions. I know that banks require assessment tests to test your personality and trustworthy. So on the Chase test, there's a lot of questions that I can't figure out which will get me the interview. So can someone help me do this? |

I failed the test, and I know I answered all the math questions right. Anyone know why you would fail? |

IF YOU PASS THE TEST THE HR WILL CALL YOU OR ONCE YOU DO THE TEST YOU COULD CALL THE HR FOR CHASE AND ASK THEM TO PULL UP YOUR PROFILE THEY SHOULD TELL YOU IF YOU PASS OR FAIL |

I failed the Chase Assessment as well. I know I did the math problems correctly. I called the branch I was applying at, the Manager told me to call the recruiter because he didn't do the hiring. The recruiter said she could not even access my assessment and if I failed, I failed, and I can't re-apply for SIX months. I do not understand why I failed, some of the questions were very unfair for someone with no banking experience. If the assessment had provided Chase's normal procedures then I know I would have passed. How am I supposed to know what to do in a given situation if I've never worked for a bank before? The recruiter even went on to tell me that there is NOBODY to contact because the teller screening is automated. I asked her to please bring this up with someone, I would make a good teller, I've managed large amounts of cash before in retail mgt. positions. This is very upsetting... to say you fail, you can't re-test for 6 months, AND there's nobody to even look at your assessment and tell you why you failed. It is not fair. I took BofA's online assessment and passed. This is very upsetting. |

Anyone can have a friend or "friends" present while taking the test who are brilliant at math word problems. My guess is if you go through that much trouble, perhaps you have the initiative they desire anyway.

How do you know you fail? Do they send you a email and what will it say exactly? |

It will tell you that you did not pass and that you can't reapply for 6 months. I'm over it though, there have been so many bank robberies in the areas around me lately, that I don't want to work in a bank anymore! |

Awww sorry I love banking I took the test this morning and it said a member from one of our staffing department will review your qualifacations. Those candidates with the experience and qualifacations that corresponds to our requirements may be contacted by our staffing department is this a sign I passed? |

So weird, I also failed the teller exam - the weird part being that I passed the Personal Banker Exam with flying colors just two weeks ago, and it was CONSIDERABLY more difficult than the teller exam!!! I'm almost certain it must have been because of the personality assessment, my math was pretty spot on and I double checked my answers just to be safe. Quite a shame, I was looking forward to working at Chase. I guess a degree in finance just doesn't go as far as it used to, eh? |
