What is the best way to get job in Telecommunication/SS7 related field as junior specialist?

Hello,

I'm specialist from Europe with nearly four years experience in Telecommunication support. This year I immigrated to US and have willing to continue my career in Telecommunications. But unfortunately I didn't so much jobs for junior specialists. So my question is how to get junior job for such person as me in United States? Sometimes it seems that companies don't need future stars members.

P.S.: Especially I'm interested in supporting objects on SS7 network as MSC,HLR,STP,GMSC,SGSN(I have experience of suuporting STP and GMSC).

Hope someone can help me with explanation of such situation.
