I am seeking software that will allow me to practice and solidify my computer reservation systems related skills. Does anyone have some information on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a shame... I'll try to get in contact with my school. I was hoping someone had designed some type of simulator, since so many people seem to study these fields...

To be honest, it's because I am planning to work for a travel agency
But I want to practice the system before starting working there.
I used to use the galileo system at home as my academy let me know how to get in the system using password until airlines blocked the system allowance to students.

That's why I keep looking for the system..^.^

On www.mundus.com or www.edutour.nl where you will find the program you need: self paced GDS/CRS study (all systems like Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and worldspan).

The important tools /sw that can be used is
sabre, galeleo, amadeuos, picasoo. Note that these are not user friendly.

We have a simple interface for the web users at our home page

There are dfferent programs which allows you to practice...such as Galileo amadeus & worldspan you can start doing them online

Go and work for flight centre they will teach you everything you need to know before you even go into store, and after a while of working there when u become a manager or something you get this thing called stargate will allows you to access Galileo, Omnis, GNE etc from home, plus they're an awesome company to work for!!

Only if they hire you. I have applied twice and got turned down twice so to me they are really picky

why dont you just apply for an airline. they will teach you everything you need to know . not only that when you start they will put you at the kiosk first so you fill more confortable and when you and they fill like your ready they will move you to other training. i know this because i worked for an airline went to a airline training school and just got hired with A airline. dont worry you'll be fine!. and once you start working, on your break or your day off you can train in the back to practice.

I know you want to enhance your related skills. i found this site looking for the same thing but i have not seen a airline give out information and practice sofeware that let you practice reservations i guess for safety reasons.you may have to go to a vocational school for training like i did.

I agree Flight centre are an amazing company to work for! Yep the interview and training process were pretty hardcore but its worth it! I was brand new to GAL when I started training...it gave me flightmares, but its best learning on the job, as I use nothing I learnt in training and do it the (much quicker) ways my experienced colleagues showed me! Flightcentre fully awesome!
