It is hard. I had looked in the major cities in Texas and did not hear anything until 6 months after graduating. Luckily, I had a clinical rotation through the hospital that called me back. Half of my classmates have still not found a job and it's almost been a year since graduation. TIPS: keep applying, online and in person. Post your resume on websites (i.e. indeed.com) and if you have not heard anything, CHANGE YOUR RESUME! Get your license/specialties. Don't give up, be willing to work any shift and almost anywhere [at first]. Try to get some internships and start networking. All in all, it gets better. |
