How did you get your start doing utility worker work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

I had a friend who was a lineman and said it was a really cool job. I looked into it online and found the Line-Man.com forum and asked a few questions about what the trade was like and where to get training in my area.

2 yrs later , I'm loving it and couldn't have asked for anything better.
