Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming veterinary assistant interview? Are there common interview questions that come up again and again? |

Usually they will ask if your afraid of big dogs or big messes if you can handle it you should be fine. Also picking up dog poop is a big part of the job. I love My job! Good luck to you |

I have no experience in being a veterinarian assistant. I have an interview this week to become one. I have experience with bottle feeding kittens and puppies, being around huge piles of poop, huge dogs because my sister owns a french mastif, birds because I nursed two of them back to health. Im willing to learn more and I am very interested in working with animals. Does it seem like im ready for a job like this? |

I really would like to become a vet assistant with the idea down the road going to school to become a vet technician. I do not have experience. I plan to take continuing education this spring at my local community college to get a certifcate in a vet assistant program. I've also signed up to do volunteer work at the Humaine Society near me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's a tough job market out there. |
