I have an interview for a job that I think I will be great at. The position is veterinary receptionist; I have experience working for a pet kennel and the experience working in administration. I just completed vocational school in the trade of office admin. What question can I expect in the interview and what are they looking for in a vet receptionist?

I also started at a kennel, then applied at our small town local vet clinic and was lucky enough to land the job of Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant. You need to have good offfice skills, be able to multi-task and handle customers on the phone and in-person, it also helps to be familiar with vaccine protocol, surgery requirements i.e. bloodwork. Handling stress with a smile is helpful!! Some questions you may be asked will involve your knowledge of animals, office and customer service skills. GOOD LUCK!!!!
