Yes, we all pitch in for helping the team I've mop, sweep and vacumed , cleaned feces from the waitng room, wiped down doors and glass, On the other hand an assisant, will come up and file charts,a vet tech will put notes in the computer, team work makes our day flow easier .I work in a crazy plase because we are all "Fu-----G idiots who are getting no raises and are lucky to just have a job.dealing with real mental issues on the part of bosses, Techs who stroll in 15-25 Minutes late when their start time is 8 AM . Clients in a hurry to drop off animals for Sx( they themselves have to go to work ) and having questions regarding the Sx procedure and I have no vet tech to address any of their concerns Works out well for the doctors, they work part time , make a decent amount of money for what few hours they work Hire Young kids who don't know how to stand up for themselves re verbal abuse .An office manager who wants to be everybodys friend , NO DISIPLINE, Shady doings- writing a letter stating that an animal is not aggressive when it just attacked and put 2 women in the hospital, and we hadn't seen the dog in THREE YEARS!, however our protocol states Dr /Patient relationship is defined bt 1 visit per calander year.To me unethical Comments?

I would not let that discourage you from applying. Being in the vet field is a lot of work, but we also work together as a team. With that being said, we all do have to pitch in and help out when needed. I'm a front desk supervisor and I still clean up poop, vomit, and bathrooms when needed. Just because we work up front doesn't excuse us from doing some of the less appealing jobs.
