Why isnt waitering/bartending seen as a serious career option, if your a waiter/bartender your seen to be on your way to somthing else (an actor, doctor whatever)?

You can make a heck of a lot as a waitress but the work is about the same as a slave. You are waiting on people hand and foot, just like a butler. You can learn more on our forums. www.tiptheserver.com
