Use to be a waitress at Fly J Truck Stop.

I enjoyed beening a waitress, because i'm a people person i like meeting and enjoying myself and people loves me. my kids enjoyed my tips of coures then no one were loses their jobs and i was making plenty of tips

i am curious how much you averaged an hour during a day shift at the flying J
i have just accepted a position at a local truckstop here. i have never worked for a truckstop but have plenty of experience waiting tables. just curious how much i should expect in tips on an hourly average, daily average etc. they are starting my salary at 2.75 which is better than the last company i was dedicated to for 5 years./

The waitress minimum wage is $2.83/hr. If your getting paid under the table thats fine, but i would bring that up if otherwise.
