Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming accounts receivable clerk interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

Just do the best you can, and answer all the question they have to offer you. ask them what they are looking at as far as an employee?

I always make of list of the duties/work I did at previous jobs. For accounts receivable/collections:

Post payments to customer accounts
A/R aging reports
Call customers/AP contact to check on payment ststus of invoices
Run credit checks to establish lines of credit
Once an account has passed into 30 days, immediately call/write/fax customer a copy of invoice/statement

Then I just review all these items so I am prepared for any questions that I may be asked. I usually start preparing for interviews about two days before. I will do an internet search for what skills other companies are looking for and if I don't know, then I do a search for that. For example, I've never had to create a P&L statement but I know I could so I run a google search on what the components are of a P&L. Then I jsut memorize everything just in case I may be asked about it in the interview. I never want to come across as incompetent or unknowledgable.
