Phone Interviews

I had a phone interview with a company that I'm very interested in. The staffing person said she will still be screening calls on Mon and Tues and should know by end of day Tuesday who she would like to bring in for more interviewing.

It's Thursday and haven't heard back anything yet.

Should I:
- Just sit back and wait and pray
- Send an email to say I'm still interested (btw, I did send a thank email after the phone interview
- Phone her
- Forget about it and move on

I'd send an e-mail, but pretty much potential employers do not extend any courtesies to "rejects".

I've gone back for 4 separate interviews for a place, and had them ditch my calls when I called to see if a decision had been made. I stopped by a day later, to find the new person happily at work.

I'm not sure when rudeness to non-competitors became the norm, but it is here in Florida.

I've had employers send me an email that they are interested
in speaking with me and when would be the best time to call?

I reply immediately and get no reponse back. Or, they say they
will call at a specific time, I wait for 3 hours, and nothing!!

I also have experienced the rudeness to non-competitors. I thought...when did this start? Guess too many people applying
for the same position to get back to the rejects.
