Are office assistants in Maine all female?

I am a male executive assistant who used to work for a large firm in New York City. I moved to Maine five years ago and have had no luck getting a similar position here. I noticed that most office help, including executive assistants, are female in Maine. Human resources staff also seem to be predominantly female. Are there men out there who are in these positions in Maine or am I wasting my time looking.
