I live in a 4 plex apt, I went out to do the laundry and found the the owner of the building had left all 4 sets of keys sitting there in baggies all marked with the apt numbers where anyone could have got ahold of them and entered all our units, can we sue?

We all make mistakes. Be thankful you found them and turned them into him when you did. You must be a great tenant!
Sue? No, that would just be lame. You cant sue for something that didnt happen anyway. I'm sure he will be more careful in the future. He was obviously fixing something in your laundryroom and forgot the keys. Things like that can happen, no one is perfect by any means.

Mistakes happen. Why would you sue? I hope you turned them in right away and didnt gossip it to everyone.
