What do you do when a tenant tells you they have a contagious disease?

I run a govt subsidized complex. I have a tenant that always tells me about his TB. I assume it's because he doesnt want me coming in to inspect his unit which I have to do twice a year. Do I put a mask on and go in, or do I (for my own health) not go in at all? He hasnt lived here long enough to be inspected yet, but I will start my annual inspections at the first part of next year. What would you do?
