Overloaded in Seattle, Washington

Currently, my portfolio consists of managing 141 total units; 4 separate apt buildings, 1 house & a duplex all within a 20 mile radius.

I've felt overwhelmed and would like a PT assistant. Am I being unreasonable?

Any ideas/thoughts on unit to "office staff" ratio?

Wow. That's definitely a lot for just one person. For administrative/office tasks, yes, you would definitely have a really good case to make to have an assistant. If nothing else, because it appears you are on the road traveling between properties a lot, you have even that much less time in the office to attend to those tasks.

A full-time assistant or assistant manager along with a full-time manager would be something I would expect for that many units.
