I would love to work for an agency where I would utilize my Arabic/French language fluency. I am merely a US person and I do not have any clearance. I am not sure where to look or apply as far as translator or any related jobs. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

They would sponsor your clearance by the way.

How about the Citizenship? I am still US resident.

BTW i checked out the Valencia Group and it is not in VA but FL rather.

These companies DO NOT require you to be a US citizen, but a green card holder, I know because I applied to most of them and I am only waiting for my security clearance to be finished (LONG LONG LONG Process though) and ALL this companies have offices in MANY states, what you may have seen for Valencia is the HQ office location.... trust me, I know almost everything and anything because this is my dream job, and have don EXTENSIVE hours of research, days of research actually....

It has also been my dream job :( and I wouldn't mind relocating either. I will definitely consider your suggested agencies and apply to them. I truly appreciate your input.

Thank you very much for all your help and good luck with your clearance!

Hi Adyrios,

Saw your input regarding Metland and other language agencies. How is your application with them? Have you got the result of the background investigation yet? It seems it is taking forever....... Any one have good news from job apps with these companies? Please give some feedback.

Hi Adyrios,

Thank you for your reponse!
I did applied for Meglang last year, but not any other agencies. I was thinking that I had better apply for other agencies once the background check is done if Metlang doesn't have enough hours for me. I got interviewed, tested, fingerprinted. But the process of background check takes so long....... Let's wish us good luck.
