Hi Art Directors
I have been an illustrator for about 15 years and have found that as the years have gone by it has become harder and harder to get illustration projects. In the digital age there seems to be thousands and thousands of "digital Illustrators" and millions and millions of cheap stock illustrations and photos, clip art, etc.
I'm wondering if you are swamped with illustrators looking for work?
Do you hire illustrators or do you prefer to purchase stock art?
Is illustration a dying profession?
Just curious how you view the illustration business from your side of things.
