What do I like most?
The variety of work and the constant change.

Dislike the most?
My peers being stuck in the stone age and refusing to accept that they're not as on the ball as they think they are.

Challenging?
Yes, most of the time.

Learning and advancement?
There are SO many opportunities to learn. There are at least 5 different ways to accomplish each task in AutoCAD, and with customization those options just explode!
Now as for whether or not you can advance, it all depends upon your field. Personally, I've come far within my own company, but, there really aren't any positions for me to move up into, and I'm in such a niche that most people that might want me, say they can't afford me.

What keeps me here?
Job security, loyalty, the challenge, the personal 'ownership' I feel for my projects, the promise of being able to implement new technologies (~fingers crossed for CAFM on the horizon!)
