Are jobs in this industry on the rise? Are there any sub-sectors that are growing?

Where are the jobs? Which places have the most bus driver opportunities?

Around New York State,we have a big shortage of bus drivers. There is a lot of money to be spent before a person gets their license. First if they do not posess a CDL they must get a permit. They must take a test for their P endorsement and a test for their S endorsement,a test for air breaks. They have to be trained, take a road test. Now upon passing the road test they have to be fingerprinted, back round check,A physical,a preservice 3 hour course, a physical preformance test. After all of this is done they may be able to hit the road. In the first year they must attend a 30 hour course which is paid for by the district. The fingerprinting is $110.50 you pay for that $40.00 for the road test,$10;00 to $20:00 for each endorsement. You have a lot of money tied up before you hit the road. In my area you have to be a high school grad or equic. Threr are a lot of hoops
