I am thinking of getting into the car hauling businees and would like to haul cars from west coast to east coast using a 8 car enclosed freighliner tractor, found one for sale locally. Is this profitable route? I understand u can get these cars off central dispatch on average for $1100 dollars at 8 cars a pop that is $8800 each way if u can fill ur truck up both ways. What kind of expenses, on average, am i looking at in running this route including gas, maintanace, insurance ETC... i am new to the car haulin businees so any input would be appreciated. TIA
