Thanks for the reply. that sounds like a fair price. when you said cheap we usually think of not even enough money to load it up on the trailer. i am glad that the price you got is fair to you cause it sounds fair to a hauler. |

You have been called out as a windbag |

You have been called out as a windbag you must own some rag a muffin truck that is unreliable and constantly breaks down. call on some insurance for $1 million liability and $250k cargo. not everyone will run illegal like you. some people follow the laws! you must be the one i hear about that takes two weeks to delivery a car 400 miles, cause your truck broke down. even better is that you are the one who damages a car and dont have insurance to cover, and give car hauling a bad name for the rest of us. you are the reason why we have to go thru the hassle of naming brokers certificate holders of insurance cause they have been screwed by someone like you that does not have cargo insurance or have general cargo insurance that wont cover cars! if you have proper insurance to insure 7 to 10 cars the cost is $10-$12k minimum. big trucks get 5 miles to the gallon, at $3 a gallon that equals 60 cents a mile. do the math if you are capable! IF YOU COULD READ, YOU WOULD HAVE READ 60 CENTS PER MILE! i am not talking about a dually. these are figures for a big truck. a new 10 car will run $170k a good used one for around $80k. try and figure out the payments for $80k, good luck! i dont have a one ton dually and learn how to spell ton not tone. tone is sound. you must be one of those mexican illegal haulers that cant speak nor write english. this person is some of the trash you will find in the business, so be careful people! YOU MY FRIEND... HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT AS AN IDIOT!! |

Well guys, my friend apparently had some guy quote him 375 to move his vehicle, then raised it 150 because he could not 'find someone' to do it for that price??? I guess he got baited and switched?

I am running light to Pittsburg, Pa. next month. I was going to look for a backload for the trip east to help with the fuel cost. I have a 26 ft. Interstate covered trailer pulled by a Ford F350 drw. |
