Hello, I have a decent amount of investment capital to work with, about 150-200k, and am very interested in the car hauling/cargo business. I plan on doing all the driving myself for the first few years, and getting the CDL/other required training as soon as I decide this is what I want to do. I was wondering if anyone could offer me any advice with this, it would be greatly appreciated. I was also wondering if it is possible to do something with a single axle 'semi truck' front cab (like the trucks UPS uses to haul their trailers). Would it be economical and make sense to have a truck like that, with a car trailer on the back? The reason I was wondering this is it seems like using a pickup truck is hard on the components, and not quite economical. Also, with the "UPS" style front semi option, I could not only have the ability to haul cars, but haul freight, boats, etc. Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it! |
