Our dad is 86. He receives 51 hours per month from Riverside IHSS for Personal Care (bathing, dressing after bathing, bowel/bladder care, skin care). He's independent, walks 30-40 feet with a cain, uses an electric chair or his scooter for longer distances. He's mentally alert, has two PhDs, psychology and thelogy, was a WWII Navy Captain of the USS Enterprise (aircraft carrier), and was a Long Beach court appointed Psychologist working with women going into/coming out of the penal system.
