I am looking through everyone's discussions here and I am noticing there are a lot of you struggling for work out there. I know the state of our economy is bad right now, but we all have to do with what we can. There was a period where I didn't have much work and it was killing me. I have learned that you have to hold on because eventually times will get better. As I was telling a few of you individually, you have to get your name out there, and with the internet that is so easy now. There are millions of apartments out there, all of which need constant work and are always looking for constant trade workers to keep with them. get yourself in these directories and get your name out there. There are only a few sites that have it, I used: www.american-apartment-owners-association.org/

Hang in like MANY "seniors" in the workforce, outsourced, downsized . . . great if you've got relatives where you can move, but what about the property you can't sell (mortgage & taxes & maybe condo fees)? Prey for every "get this degree" scheme . . . but since money for further education is also in a drought, that's moot. |
