Renew my CNA license

i have had my license i start in 1996 and i quit because i had a baby in 2002 and my license run out in2004 how can i renew them

To see about renewing my license and to see if any reason I may not work as an aide

im tring to renew my licences how do i go about doing that before it runs out ?

Millie, and ALL OF YOU needing to gain access to your CNA "license". You need to contact the State in which you were tested, or in which you last held your certificate, and tell them what happened. They can cross reference you by your name, address and social security number. Each state is different, so ALWAYS start with your state, or most recent employer. The employer or most recent employer will have a copy of your CERTIFICATE in your employee file. For those of you who have let your CERTIFICATION expire, CALL YOUR STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH and ask for the licensing division. They are the people you need to be asking.

for most of you that let your license expire , you will have to do everything all over again, which includes those classes that was hundreds of dollars. try keep it up to date before this happens. i know a couple of folks who let theirs expire and they had to take the classes over again, luckily they were at a job where they paid for it.

I went to my State registry. So you may want to call any place that offer the CNA course and ask them how can you obtain that information.

You can go to this web address and type in yur first and last name and select you License ie. CNA or click all and any license or certification you have will come up in the book beneath. Replaced CNA and HHA Licenses require filing out a form which can also be found in this website:
