Check with your state and city to make sure they are accredited and legitimate. Also speak with current and past students before you make a commitment to attending this school. Go with you first mind, if something doesn't seem right with the school it may not be. So do all of your research first. Alot of local adult schools and community colleges offer the same programs, it just depends where you live. Best of luck to you.
