CPR with Mickey offers CNA and PCT training programs and we have two locations - in Cartersville (off I-75) and in Dallas. We have CNA day classes that are completed in 3 weeks and our night/Saturday CNA program is completed in 5 weeks. Our PCT program, which includes Advance nursing skills, phlebotomy, and ekg training is a 9 week program. If you have been laid off a job you may be eligible for financial assistance. For more information, email me at avickery@cprwithmickey.com |

Be careful about any training provider that offers such a short program. According to the Medical Career Specialist web site they offer a PCT program with only 24 hours of training. There are two PCT certifing agencies that I know of. The American Phlebotomy Association has training hour and other standards for taking their exam, but the National Healthcareer Association has very few requirements. I suggest that you contact some employers and ask which certification they will accept. Due to the low standards, they may not accept certifications from the NHA. |
