Free classes medical field in Dallas, Texas

Where can I find free classes in the medical field (dallas texas) I have been out of that field for 5 yrs , I am trying to go back but employers notice that in my resume, now I am unemployed $800 mortgage 3 teenager sons , my CMA AND PHLEBOTOMY certification are expired, I just need to learn a new career then I can work , please email me mexicodurango@att.net

Have you ever thought about possibly coming to Atlanta, GA to take a four week class and then test to get your certification in what ever state you live in? At Covenant C.N.A. School we offer small classrooms, two class schedule options (9-2,and 5-10), 4 weeks of classes that will more than prepare you for the occupation of CNA's. Not only will you learn the skills you need to know you will also have a chance to be certified in CPR which is often required of any healthcare professional to know. We also offer resume editing to prepare you for applying for jobs.
Keep in mind this school has a 100% passing rate for students who take the board exam in GA. Alot of other shcools don't have that track record. My name is Chassity and if any of you are interested in what I've mentioned then let me know.

I am trying to find a place in or around Columbia, S.C. that has free recertification testing. I am currently out of work. I have no income coming in at this time. I NEED A JOB BAD. I did not no until it was to late to send in my application for my new cna card because i had moved and they didn't forward all my mail. Can't afford testing, can't find a job without a cna card, help some one.

I did find a school in Woodstock right off of Hwy 92. I have already finished school and will be taking my state boards on 11-13-2010. The teacher was great and the class was only 3 weeks. If you want contact information let me know.

You will have to retake the CNA Program if your license has expired. In order to keep your license current, you can't not work as a CNA for 2 years. If you haven't worked as a CNA for 2 years, you have to start over unfortunately with the lecture class and the clinicals.

I am new to the Decatur GA area. Would you please tell me where I can find a free CNA training class that I can take by itself without the extras. I have a degree in medical assisting from 1997 but I can't do anything without having a cna certification. I also need to know where can I get free CPR and First Aid training as well.

1) On testing day, the students wait together in a room for their results. Most are very excited when they pass their exams, and almost all share their results with the others in the room. For many classes, there is clapping and cheering and hugs as students pass their exams—so the exam results are not a secret to their classmates. The only way we know who passes the exam is if the students tell their classmates or us. Thankfully, the vast majority of our graduates pass the exam on their first attempt—our first-time pass rate is among the highest in the state. As far as this specific incident, what I assume happened was that a student on the second test date asked me how the other students on the first test date did. I probably answered something like, “All of the students passed, but ‘Mary’ didn’t pass her blood pressure skill.” Since some may consider this inappropriate, I no longer give student’s name when asked, even if the student has shared the results with their classmates on the test date.

2) Our program’s total costs are in the middle of the total costs charged by other area CNA training programs—a few calls to other CNA training programs will confirm this. When you consider the free skills practices we offer, which greatly improve our graduates’ chances of passing certification exam on their first attempt, our program is an excellent value.

3) I was never made aware of any mistreatment of residents at either of our clinical sites. Normally our clinical instructor would handle any issues of inappropriate treatment of a resident with the clinical site directly, if any were to occur, and bring it to my attention later for us to discuss.

I encourage anyone looking for a Nurse Aide class to talk to some of the hundreds of our happy graduates.

I am a student interested in the medical field, preferably nursing field. I want to gain experience and knowledge before I make that final step to apply to nursing school.
I have a high interest in attending a free-of-cost CNA program. I currently live in Austin but during the summer I want to take classes in Dallas.
