MIRNA GAUNA in Scottsdale, Arizona said: I WILL LIKE TO FIND A SCHOOL WHO THEY OFFER CNA CLASSES THANK YOU.

Usually they are offered in a Nursing Home. Check the local paper or call a few of them and just ask. I started that way and now work in a hospital. Good luck, Carol

Erica,
You don't have to repeat the CNA training class, but you do need to re-take the CNA state exam and show proof of 8 hours of paid work as a CNA in the last 2 years. Good luck!

You don't really need a refresher class if you think you can study by yourself and pass the exam. Refresher classes are NOT mandatory. If you need free sample tests and CNA exam skills videos go to www.cnatips.com/videos/cna-practice-tests.php. Best of luck to you!

Are there any free CNA classes offered in Ft.Worth, Texas? I would really like to find a nursing home on the west side of Ft.Worth that offers free training while working. I would be willing to sign a contract agreeing to work for a period of time in return for the help in getting certified.

Gee I would just like to know where the heck I can find a college or some long 8hr classes for a sat. to get some ceus for my cnas. Its very hard to find anything in the central valley. There is one nice rn that has a 4hr class each month, but of course now I waited and need them before mine expires in aug. 2009. Why does this state make it so hard, the lvn and rns can go on line but we cant. Im central vally work for a home health agencey any ideas will be greatly appreciated hurry and get back to me. For the person in walnut creek on my app if you are unable to able get your ceus and has not expired over 2 years you may submit the renewal app for reactivation without retraining. It really sucks I cant even find some where to go, soo what the heck you supposed to do? Im willing to travel if anyone has any clues than-you b.riley

It depends on where you live. I found a place in Ft.Worth, Texas that offers training in four weeks, but it costs about $900.00 for the course. They have payment plans, though, so you can pay it out in installments. They also have night classes, so you can go to school while you are still working. They are in Hurst, it is Elite CNA, you should be able to find their number in the phone book or online.

Try your local library for GED classes. They are always a good source of information for that kind of thing.

What you need to do is go to the board of Nursing in your area and pay the renewal fee and that should cover you.

Things do hava a way of working out and time can heal a lot of hurts, but it never hurts to know there are people that care. You keep on trying and keeping your eyes forward and it will get better. A positive attitude always helps, and you seem to have that going for you. Good luck and God Bless.
