You need to re-take the Colorado CNA exam in order to become re-certified.

Florida Certified Behavior Analysts with expanded privileges (FL-CBA/e) will have the option of transferring to Board Certified Behavior Analyst status. There will be no fee for transfer through April 1, 2005, no fee will be required until the first annual renewal date, and no continuing education will be required to transfer. Individuals who transfer will begin a new BCBA three-year recertification cycle (annual renewal the first two years, recertification with continuing education due the third) on July 1, 2005, when all BCBA recertification standards, recertification rules, recertification policy and recertification fees will apply. Unless otherwise specified, these individuals must adhere to all BACB standards, rules, and policies. Individuals who currently hold both BCBA and FL-CBA/e certification will begin a new BCBA three-year recertification cycle on July 1, 2005 with no fee or continuing education required, providing they elect not to retain their FL-CBA/e certification. Individuals who currently hold both BCBA and FL-CBA/e certification and elect to retain their FL-CBA/e certification will continue in their existing BCBA recertification cycle with fees and continuing education due as scheduled.

my certification expired 12/2008 and I just received a card from from the Florida department of health telling me that I need to renew my certificate by 12/2009 for 160.00 or retake the entire program over again to be certified. I live in florida. Here is the number to the Division of Medical Quality Assurance in florida. The can probably give you the number to contact the MQA in North Carolina

the site would not let me give you the number

If you have not been recertified within two years, your certificate is permanently expired and you have to take the entire program over again. Those are the new policy

I used to be a CNA in California but my certificate expired 10 years ago when I moved out of state. I plan to go back and live in California and reinstate my CNA certificate. Do I need to retake the test? How do I do this?
