And also look online however, you have to make sure that Texas board of nursing will accept any online cna nursing classes. I wish I lived in Texas. There aren't enough two technical schools where I live at.

Hi,

You can choose from CNA classes offered at nursing homes or those offered at private schools and community colleges. Nursing homes might train for free, u have to talk to someone there and ask. For a list of classes available in your area go to www.cnatips.com and select CNA training then pick your state. Good luck!

There are lots of facilities offering nurse aide programs in California. To see the ones in your area go to www.cnatips.com and choose your state then choose the county u live in or the ones near by. The maps are very helpful and easy to use. Good luck!

You can go to www.cnatips.com and look at what schools and facilities offer CNA courses in California, by county. Choose CNA training classes from menu then pick CA from map then pick your counties. Good luck!

Sharon, Call Nevada Board of Nursing and they will give you names and number of such facility. I'm pretty sure there is still one out those facilities that does it for free. Good luck

I tool cna test in January I took a oral written test I got 61 percent on it and I flunk it because you had to get 70 percent on it in Iowa at Nicc dubque school then in april I took it again and I took this one on computer I got 53 percent on it and I flunk it again So, the cna is hard but the price to take it again it cost to much money and I cant afford anymore. I am a handicap and they dont give a damn for them they dont want to help get through it so I am not taking it again

In most states, I don't believe you need a diploma to be a CNA to get a license. Colleges that offer the courses may require you to have a diploma. I live in Missouri, and went to Bing.com (a really good search engine that fizzles out the b.s.) and looked up the missouri site for nursing and cna's. I found a hospital that does it in my state. You can also call a hospital or nursing home in your area and see if they are offering free training.
