I tool cna test in January I took a oral written test I got 61 percent on it and I flunk it because you had to get 70 percent on it in Iowa at Nicc dubque school then in april I took it again and I took this one on computer I got 53 percent on it and I flunk it again So, the cna is hard but the price to take it again it cost to much money and I cant afford anymore. I am a handicap and they dont give a damn for them they dont want to help get through it so I am not taking it again

In most states, I don't believe you need a diploma to be a CNA to get a license. Colleges that offer the courses may require you to have a diploma. I live in Missouri, and went to Bing.com (a really good search engine that fizzles out the b.s.) and looked up the missouri site for nursing and cna's. I found a hospital that does it in my state. You can also call a hospital or nursing home in your area and see if they are offering free training.

Does anyone know how to challenge the CNA exam in Calif?

This is some garbage..no one has an answer to where to get free CNA training in Fort Myers on this site or an answer to any other question that was asked for that matter..this is just a good place to vent!The only job out here in Fort Myers is Health Care now. I can't pay for school because there are no jobs here in Fort Myers, I have been applying for work for about a month and still I have not got anything. My resume is well written and I know I am more than qualified for an employer. Maybe too qualified for this hick 1988 town.

You do not need any classes specifically other than the CNA class itself.

I have been working as a secretery for the past 5 yrs/excellent resume'..and also have some continued education in fitness and nutrition,however...my boss just layed me off,cuz he is not doing good with his company at the present.

I understand your situation. I live in Texas and I am a CNA and I did Google free CNA classes in Bronx, NY and the only one that I found so far is The Bronx Learning Center. I don't know if you already checked them out or not but the website is assembly.state.ny.us. I will do a little more research and if I come up with anymore, I will let you know. Good luck to you.
