You do not need any classes specifically other than the CNA class itself.

THEY GIVE THE FREE CNA COURSES AT MID-MANHATTAN ADULT LEARNING CENTER
THE NUMBER IS ..HOWEVER,THEY ONLY DO THEM ONCE A YEAR..AND ITS A 10 MNTH PROGRAM, & STARTS FROM SEPT. TO JUNE

One last thing.
Theh economy sucks..and it seems so hard to find a job right now!
I have been working as a secretery for the past 5 yrs/excellent resume'..and also have some continued education in fitness and nutrition,however...my boss just layed me off,cuz he is not doing good with his company at the present.
I dont have any children(which sucks,cuz it deems the people with kids get more money then those without any)...and I am planning on moving to NYC..so I needed to make some money here in this boondock a** cityso yr..i can save for my planned trip in march of next yr, but NO ONE IS HIRING...and its becpming depressing,cuz I need some money asap darnit! = (

Please..is there any classes in nyc/or jersey that starts around march/april..thats for free?

Hello, Jenny

I understand your situation. I live in Texas and I am a CNA and I did Google free CNA classes in Bronx, NY and the only one that I found so far is The Bronx Learning Center. I don't know if you already checked them out or not but the website is assembly.state.ny.us. I will do a little more research and if I come up with anymore, I will let you know. Good luck to you.
