I was wondering if anyone can help me find out somewhere that offers free CNA training. I currently work at a nursing home that does not offer training and would like continue working there. Somewhere that will let me train without working there for a certain period of time would be great! I need somewhere in the Kent/Ravenna area of Ohio.

The teacher is excellant and helps you a lot. They also have all the Florida CNA Skills on-line to review, that part really helped a lot.

Some of the schools in Tampa Charge $1200.00 I know I called and they would not give me the class price on the phone.

I PAID $500 for my class and I also received about $200 worth of equipment and things. If you are looking for a school in Tampa I personally recommend it.

If anyone wants to buy a copy from me , I have the CNA test prep book from the course that comes with all that is to be known for the test plus notes from the class. The course was 250.00 but I would sell a copy to someone that could not afford the class, but only the book.

only 75 due to the copying fee since I dont have a copier, i have to go somewhere to do it. it is from a 4 day class. Honestly I am studying right now to take the state test. Its states on the cover CNA prep test manual. The test is all multiple with 4 questions on protocol for skills. Honestly its simple. Also has a practice test. Manual states you do not have to attend a course to take the state exam.Course for this class was 300.00. Thank you for the info. I just finished my clinical/lab/theory. I received a certificate. I live in Pennsylvania. The nurse we had in theory/lab was handicapped and could only verbally tell us what was right or wrong with skills. We have 27 skills to master. Since class is over, I'm going to the next class that has an RN that is not handicapped. She is my clinical supervisor and will help me with what I didn't get in class. The handicapped teacher that I had was brillant and 42 yrs. as a nurse, then had knee surgery and she can not get around without a walker. This hampered our learning but she tried very hard to explain what the procedures were. I give her credit, but a student needs a hands on with skills.

Please give me your input and our class is waiting for the dates and times we have our certification. The school I attended is putting the fear of God into us just by saying various things; ie: if when washing hands, if the scubs touch the sink you fail. I realize that is important, due to bacteria, but give us a positive note.

I am looking for a CNA to stay with my father. He is 57 and has suffered a stroke. It would be a live in situation. $1,400.00 per month. You would have a private room with french doors leading to a deck overlooking Lake Rhodhiss. There is wireless internet and cable in the house and all meals and board will be provided.

TOOK A COOL CLASS IN SARASOTA. IT COST 649 BUT GOT JOB RIGHT AWAY AT 11.50 AN HOUR COS THEY HELP YOU WITH JOBS. IT IS SIX DAYS AND YOU GET A BIG BAG OF STUFF FOR MEDICAL, TRAINING BOOK AND ONLINE TOO AND THEY LET YOU COME BACK AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. THEY EVEN HELP YOU REGISTER FOR THE TEST AND TELL YOU HOW TO DO IT. FREE ISNOT SO GOOD COS THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES BUT THIS PLACE IS LIKE 100% OF THE PEOPLE PASS. AND GET JOBS. THEY ARE 360-2000. I GOT A JOB THE NEXT WEEK. AND GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK AND I ALSO GOT 2 YEAR CPR FROM THEM AND WHERE YOU WORK YOU HAVE TO HAVE THAT AND THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT BUT IT GOT IT WITH THE COURSE.
