How much would a Clinical Research Associate make in Canada?

Lost My Way in Toronto, Ontario

I'm lost.
Searched every where, and seems that nobody can give a clear answer.
I know that salary changes from job to job.
But in general, how much would a CRA make in a year?
And I have read that I should start off as a data coordinator/manager or some similar positions for a few years.
What's the wage to begin with?
I need to know if I could atleast make a living...

Just have something more to say.
My mom's friend in Toronto is doing somethng like a CRA in a hospital.
She's making about 40K a year....Is that the average?
Oh, and one more question:
How competitive is the job?
Would I have a chance with a bachelor degree in BioChem?

I am a clinical data manager in the USA. I make between $50 to $60 dollars an hour contracting. Perm...I can make $85,000 to 100,000 a year. Clinical Research Associates make the same.

I am student doing Masters in Clinical Research Administration in Eastern Mich. Uni.I wanted know that when I complete my masters in 2011 ..how difficult it would be to enter in market? If I wanted to do an internship what are the places I should apply

hi lost my way

i graduated bio in 2000, did the clin research post grad 2001
started off in hospital as data coordinator at 38000, went up to 42000 by 2nd year, moved to another hospital startin at 48000 then 5 months later pharma company startin at 56000 and in mid 70's now after 5 yrs

so yes can make a good livin as salary goes up with experience!

I have a degre in biochem '06 and clinical research post grad in '07. I started off making 55000 as in in-house CRA at a pharma and now at 75000 as a CRA 3 yrs later

Do you have any feedback about Oxford College CRA program? Seriously considering to take it up. Its in Scarborough. I have a foreign Bachelor degree in science. Any opinions are appreciated. Tks.
