I took the test about 6 days ago and I must say the written part was a lil harder than what I thought, but if you study and pay close attention in class you'll pass with flying colors just like i did!

I pass the practical part, and fail written test 2 times. I have only one more chance to take the written test again. I just wanna say that the written part is not easy as many of you might think. Thats why read the book and study hard. The guestions on the written tests are very treaky. So be very careful when choosing your answers.

This is to the CNA from conn. regarding Job discriptions as a CNA

I have been a Certified Nsg Assistant for over eighteen years, and to my knowledge as a nursing assistant this is a brief discripition of our responsibilities; Showers, feeding, vitial signs, Range of Motion, bed making,Ambulations provide safty at all times, documentations etc.

If you work for an agency you should follow their guidelines on the duty to perform with the client/customers. Check with your state nurse aid Reg. for more details....
If you are having back problems you should consult your employer and you may want to varify your body mechanics when transfering, and multitasking...If you are complying with every little detailed not on your Job discription you will/ without a doubt make it very difficult for other workers who comply with their job discriptions and Resposibilities so you might want to conduct a full review of discriptions you were hired for...take it safe and slow "Money" might be everything but think about your "freedom" I stated that because if you are not trained and qualify for being a Physical Theorpy you might be at risk if something goes wrong in the process....Look out for your safty and your client safty. The aboue reply is only my opinion throughout my many years of experiences...

I`m in Mountain City TN. I`m taking classes @my local Hosital, But any nursing home usually trains people because they need so many. Call your local nursing home if they aren`t giving them they can tell you where to go.
