I used to work at the Hartage Manor in dubuque iowa I was just learning how to take care of elderly people and I was there for a moth because the fired me for know reason When I was taught in nicc that whenever you see the light go on even if you are on your break time you should go and check the person out so that the other elderly is not on top the other person bed so I check it out and some one was in some one bed that why they fired me for that. I live in the Hickory area and am 49. I have been taking care of my mother with alzheimers and am currently taking the 2 week CNA course for certification. I love working with geriatric patients and would love the opportunity to meet your father in person. I know it is hard to see your father getting older , as my mother also, but they just need someone to give them security and know they are there for anything they need.
